“Happiness is a warm puppy.”
– Charles M. Schulz (Peanuts. Lucy van Pelt, after hugging Snoopy.)
My parents introduced me to Peanuts and the Charles Schulz Museum sounded like a fun place to go. I recommend taking the time to visit this amazing walkthrough of Charles Schulz life and his famous comic strip, “Peanuts”. You can explore the history, take pictures with fun displays, learn about cartoon drawings, and leave with a smile on your face!
The best parts for me were being able to have my picture taken at the famous, “Psychiatric Help” booth, and having the opportunity to visit the drawing room where you get to trace and draw the characters for yourself. I also learned that comic strip artists have particular styles in how they use their lines and pencils, which helps to create the “persona” of the characters.
